"Avery, what happened?" Olivia inquired.

She had no clue what was happening and didn't dare to go anywhere close to Louis. The only person who she got close to was Avery.

"Stay away, Olivia! It's too dangerous!" Avery yelled worriedly.

Louis shifted his gaze to Olivia. "My experiment is going to be successful soon. That's Natalie's descendant. She has Natalie's genes in her..." Olivia's eyes widened as she finally realized why Louis had been taking special care of her.

"You're my best experiment subject.e, help me." Louis, who hadn't given up yet, stared at Olivia. Avery and Ethan stood before her. "Don't go." The Fordham family plotted this. Douglas staged his death so that he could invade Louis' base today.

"It's over, Louis. Stop being so obsessive. Wake up! Natalie saved you back then and wished you'd bring good to humankind, didn't she? But you've gone astray all these years. Think of what you've done just to resurrect her. I shouldn't have let you stay alive." Douglas pointed a gun at Louis' chest.

The gun was fired, and blood splattered.

Hanging onto his final breath, Louis crawled toward Natalie's body, ne murmuring her name, "Natalie, ming. You must've been waiting forfor so long..." In the end, he hovered over the container with his blood oozing out into a pool of red.

His eyes closed and never opened again.

Douglas looked at Natalie gently. She looked the sas she was when she was young. "Let's take you home, Natalie..." Olivia was so curious about Natalie's past. She informed Avery about the information she had. He stroked her head. "We found out the sthing too. Dad rushed his way over there. This is supposed to be their ver business.
