“You’re Jeff’s daughter? Then who are Liv’s parents?” Ethan asked.

Marina was displeased that he brought up Olivia. “How would I know? I only realized who my birth parents were shortly before my mother died.”

Marina shook her head frantically and said, “Please don’t do this, Ethan. I won’t do it again. I swear I’ll never plot against Olivia again. Giveanother chance. I’ll explain to the media and the guests. You can punishhowever you want, but please don’t cancel the engagement.”
