Light fell silent.

If the ones waiting outside the Human plane were Deception and Toad only, Light would not hesitate and answer she would not participate in the battle. She could expose Deception's lies and tell her she did not want to take part in her schemes. Unfortunately, they were not the only ones waiting for an opportunity to descend. There were five others with two having a high position in the faction.

When Light failed to answer even after Kyran waited for a few minutes, he said, 'Forget it. If you can't avoid but join them, I won't stop you. Just don't expect me to be lenient.'

'Calx and Gemini are there,' Light reasoned with an exasperated sigh. 'If the ones outside are ordinary members, I can still pretend to be working with them. But those two have high perceptions. It is impossible to hide my intentions.'

Calx and Gemini were the two high-rank Sovereigns in Light's faction. According to Light, their ranks were determined according to their tenure as a Sovereign and not on how powerful they were. Nevertheless, the former two possessed unconventional magic that even Kyran deemed troublesome.

'That's why I said I won't stop you from joining them,' Kyran repeated. In the first place, the mark he placed on her would not be triggered as long as she did not have real killing intent directed at him.

With that said, Kyran stood up and added, 'Keep me posted. I have to go somewhere.'

'You have people working under you. Why do you still do things yourself?' Light could not help but ask.

The mage who fought Osric was obviously one of Kyran's underlings but after warping him and the sea serpent, he had not called them back.

Light found Kyran's treatment of his underlings a little odd.

'Does having people under you mean you should stop doing things on your own?' Kyran retorted.

Light pursed her lips but did not refute. He had a point, at the same time, she still felt it was a waste having people under you if you did not make use of them.

'You can choose to follow me, or guard the hole in the sky.'

'Humph,' Light snorted and the space behind Kyran distorted slightly, revealing her silhouette. 'Do you think I enjoy following you around? I can take a hint. I'll watch over the hole and let you know of any updates.'

'Alright,' Kyran agreed.

The distortion behind Kyran vanished as Light left. After confirming that she had truly left, he also warped— his destination was the Regis Estate's Outer Wall where he sent Tritus and the sea serpent.

Upon arrival, Kyran felt an enormous amount of magic energy and fluctuation in the surroundings. He then saw the two enveloped by a huge sphere of pure water magic energy- apparently, they were still in the middle of their advancement.

Kyran set up a defensive array to ensure Tritus and the sea serpent could advance without meeting any problems. After which, he waved his hand and summoned Neo out of the Void world.

"Master," Neo greeted and knelt on one knee. The moment he did, crackling noises could be heard coming out of his body.

Neo's external and internal frames and circuitry were filled with cracks. The only reason no one noticed that was because of its coat.

Kyran immediately felt his heart tighten. He already knew how damaged Neo's body was. When he used his magic sense to probe the Boyd Family's villa, he confirmed Neo's state and was already troubled by it.

After all, Neo's parts could not be found in the Human plane.

Initially, Kyran wanted to recreate these materials using the stones available in the Human plane. This way the items he needed to fix his puppets would become new materials in the Human plane, making it easier to recreate them using his Void magic. However, with so many things he had to take care of since his return from the Tower of Tribulation and having too little time, he was unable to do so.

Currently, Kyran could only get these materials either from Gustaf or Olivia, who had access to the Tower of Tribulations. Unfortunately, Kyran did not find an opportunity to visit Gustaf and Byron had not yet sent an update about his and Silas's meeting with Olivia.

"Stay still," Kyran ordered Neo before raising his hand. Several purple rings appeared and circled Neo's body, fixing some of the cracks.

Kyran sighed inwardly. If Neo's parts were made of materials available in the Human plane, he would not have any problem creating them using one of Void's nature. But since they were not, he could only provide a temporary fix on the cracks.

'I wonder if I can go back to the Tower for a few hours and request to train in Loar's plane...' Kyran thought, recalling that Loar's plane was basically a haven for mages mastering puppetry. The parts he needed to fix Neo would definitely be available there.

Alas, even if he went back to the tower, his request to train in Loar's plane would never be granted because he did not need to train his puppetry knowledge but his Void magic. The tower would be the one to decide which plane best suited Kyran's growth.

To be honest, Kyran had the option to dismantle his other puppets and use their parts to fix Neo. But if he did that, he would lose a possible advantage of having a few 'undying' mages that possessed infinite magic energy.

Although some might think that instead of dismantling his other puppets, Kyran could just transfer Neo's— or rather, 'Tyr's' program to another intact puppet, it was impossible. Because compared to the other puppets, Neo's body and frame were tailored made to fit what Tyr could do. If Tyr's program was used by the other puppets, they would not last.

With this in mind, Kyran still considered returning to the Tower of Tribulation and entering another plane to train. Though he still had the option of asking Gustaf or Olivia for materials, they would still need to check their inventories. There was also the possibility that they did not have most of the materials Kyran needed and would require some time to gather them.

If Kyran entered a plane to train, at least he would not really waste too much time given the time difference between planes.

At the moment, Kyran did not consider asking for Stella's help given her current condition.

In any case, as long as Kyran could enter a different plane, he could find a way to create the materials not present on that plane and use his magic to—.

Wait.

Kyran suddenly recalled something and could not help but kick himself for forgetting it.

He did not have to return to the Tower of Tribulation to enter a plane that had a low chance of possessing the materials he needed. There was already a plane available within the Human plane that would definitely have the materials he needed and more— and it was hidden in the heart of the Regis Estate's Inner Wall!

A floating patch of land— the Regis Terram!

'The Regis Terram is a piece of land from the Dragon plane. Light said that resources in planes from the Higher Realm are better compared to the Lower Realm. The chance of creating the materials I needed but with better quality is higher if I enter the Regis Terram,' Kyran could not help but feel excited at the idea.

Without further ado, he got Neo to return to the Void world and went to the Regis's Inner Wall.

The remaining members of the Regis Family had already been transferred successfully to the Ravenpass camp, thus, the camp outside the Inner Wall was already empty.

Kyran received the update much earlier from Mannick. He planned to check on them after fixing Neo and adjusting his program. He was thinking of using him as an addition against the Sovereigns once they arrive—  and they would definitely come. As long as there were five people that could hold off the Sovereigns, they could buy more time for his 'subs' to prepare and join them.

Kyran looked at the cracked silver barrier surrounding the Inner Wall. They had not taken down the barrier to ensure others would not be able to enter.

Ignoring the silver barrier, Kyran roused his Draconic magic before entering the Inner Wall. Soon, he arrived at the periphery of the central area of the Inner Wall and looked at the entrance that led into a dense forest.

Kyran remembered going inside the forest as a child in his coming of age. At that time, he was only allowed to roam around the forest's perimeter. His grandfather once told him that the reason he could only roam there was due to stronger beasts living at the center of the forest. He was only a child at that time and though he was trained at a much earlier age in combat, it was impossible for him to fight more than one beast with higher levels.

Now that Kyran was grown, he realized how gullible he had been to believe his grandfather. In any case, it seemed the real reason he was not allowed to go deeper into the forest was because of the existence of the Regis Terram.

Kyran entered the dense forest and arrived at the heart without much suspense. He was unsure if his uneventful journey was because there were no beasts living there, or because the beasts were keeping their distance from him.

'So this is the Regis Terram,' Kyran thought as he looked at the inverted floating piece of land up ahead.

Kyran found the scene familiar because the scene before him especially the floating piece of land from the Dragon plane looked very much like the location where he fought his father's essence.

It was not hard to guess that his father likely modeled the platform to look the same as this place.

As Kyran looked at the floating piece of land, he felt his Draconic core stir.

Apart from it, he also felt the Heaven's Conch heat up inside his storage pouch. Obviously, both were resonating with the Regis Terram.
