Nahir and the rest of the Eidums watched the scene unfold on the battlefield with bated breaths. Just a moment ago, they were worried about Kyran's well-being and wished for him to retreat to the safety of the border's steel walls. Whether their pleas reached him or not, he seemed stuck because the situation on the battlefield only took a drastic turn after that massive explosion.

However, when the cloud of smoke that resulted from the explosion cleared, their worldview turned upside down as they once more bore witness to Kyran's abnormal strength.

Most of the Eidums failed to follow Kyran's movements but they only needed to check which Armakean would fall next to know his location. He was literally like a phantom that moved around the battlefield taking down the Armakean leaders one after another. When he got surrounded by the knights, they thought his overwhelming momentum would finally be stopped. But, while his speed slowed down a little, his oppression remained unhindered. He continued to take down the knights and it even seemed like he was only getting started.

Hilam and the young Eidums who Kyran traveled with before going to the border, watched his display with pure admiration. They used to view Nahir, Gidan, and other veterans of the Eidums to be powerful elites, but after witnessing Kyran in action, they felt that the strengths of the former lot were only so-so.

Because of Kyran, the standard of a powerful being that Hilam and most of the younger Eidums looked up to had gone up at an unbelievable high. At the moment their standard could be considered unacceptable because if it was, then very few, probably only a handful in Somuli, could be considered powerful.

Of course, this was the current situation. That might change in the near future.

In any case, seeing Kyran remained unrivaled, most of the Eidums started to breath a sigh of relief. That was until they saw the knights were looking for trouble by trying to save their princess.

When Gidan saw this, he suggested going in and assisting Kyran.

But Nahir only looked at him as if he had lost his mind. In the first place, the location where Kyran was at, as well as the princess, was surrounded by Armakean Knights. Kyran made it look as if the knights were push overs, but that was only because he was too abnormal. If they were the ones confronting the Armakean Knights, the situation would be reversed. They would be the ones getting pummeled one-sidedly.

Nevertheless, Nahir understood where Gidan was coming from.

Unlike the others, Nahir was aware of Kyran's identity. Though Nahir did not know the extent of what Kyran could do, seeing the color change in Kesiah's armor, Nahir was convinced that Kyran used Array to restrain her rather than using plain magic. Nahir was convinced that if the knights realized this, the thought that Kyran possessed a lost technology they were unaware might cause them to retreat. They would then have to report it back to the King. When that happened, the King might send more knights to the border and the war there would escalate.

Unfortunately, Nahir missed the idea by a long shot. But his reasoning of what might happen if the knights got close to their princess was somewhat same with Kyran's. At least, they were thinking the same about the knights retreating.

Kyran did not want the knights to retreat because he did not want to alert the King of his plan of conquest. He wanted win over the knights at the border first then make his way toward the Armakean Capital. This way, he could take more knights under his command without shedding too much blood.

Besides, he wanted to conquer the Armakea in a way that few of the outsiders would pay attention to them. They might only be concerned about winning the allegiance Somuli's fake Sovereign, but since the latter wanted the Saint— who was an Eidum— then they would definitely keep a certain amount of interest in their movements.

The Abbot's abduction was supposed to divert their focus, but since the Abbot already revealed himself today, it would only be a matter of time before the rest would know about it.

Unless the outsiders who saw him did not spread the news about it, then the Eidums only had to silence those from Armakea to keep the farce going.

Although Nahir thought Gidan's suggestion was absurd, he did consider assisting Kyran. But before he could come up with a plan, they witness strange movements at the outer formation of the knights that surrounded Kyran.

Nahir, Gidan, and a few others who noticed the movements were dumbfounded when they realized what was happening.

A group of people in black— reminiscent of Kyran's attire when they first saw him— were taking down knights one after another. Their speed at which they took down the knights were almost as fast as Kyran had been.

"Don't tell me… those are Nar's kin?" Gidan blurted, feeling both unconvinced and relieved— a very contradicting emotions.

"Impossible!" Nahir responded strongly. He knew about Kyran. It was impossible for him to have kins in this plane. He frowned slightly as an idea crossed his mind.

Kyran did not ask for his people to come help them, or did he? He did disappear for a long time before returning with a troubling news. If he did ask his people for help, that was the only time Nahir could think of that allowed him to do so.

'No, it is impossible,' Nahir shook his head inwardly as he wondered how those people managed to arrive at such a short time?

Nahir might be aware of Kyran's identity, but he was not fully aware of what he could do. Thus, it was not strange for him not to consider the possibility that Kyran warped his people in Somuli.

Nevertheless, even if Nahir was aware of it. It was also impossible.

When Kyran warped to a plane from another, it exhausted him. If he warped a few others at the same time, he would likely end up comatose, if not dead.

Regardless of how the newcomers arrived, the fact that they were with Kyran could not be denied.

Once more, the battlefield took a drastic shift from the arrival of these people. The Knights' formation and close to perfect response time slowly crumbled. It was not because those who could assume leadership had now been taken out, but more to the fact that they could not handle four more people who seemed to share the same strength as the Eidum's mysterious helper.

Even at the side of the magical beasts, for some unknown reason, all movements of the knights and officers there stopped. This allowed the Comodo and Dyrad to lay waste of the latter two.

Nahir's brow furrowed as he watched the scene below. He did not notice it earlier because the situation appeared dire, but now that he looked at the bodies lying on the ground, he found they were not dead. Most were heavily injured, especially those who fought the Comodo and the Dryad, but they were alive.

There were fatal casualties, yes. But the number of those who might live was far greater.

'This… How could such a thing be possible?'

In just over half an hour, the battle ended without much drama.

The remaining knights and officers were forced to surrender. And frankly, they wanted to take their lives, but Kyran and his people managed to knock them out cold before they could. Unfortunately, there were still a few who they failed to stop.

Kyran could not help but frown when he counted six knights among those who killed themselves. He found it a waste of talents to see those six knights go.

Nahir and the rest of the Eidums did not go down the walls even after knowing the battle had truly ended. After all, there were still those beast horde and the magical beasts.

Just as they were wondering how to deal with those lot, Kyran went over to the Comodo.

The Eidums held their breaths as they watch Kyran raised his hand toward the Comodo. They expected another epic confrontation would unfold between the two.

But what happened next left them gaping with their mouths open.

The Comodo lowered its head toward Kyran's raised hand and purred like a pet cat as it allowed Kyran to pet it. Even the Dyrad wriggled its way toward Kyran and affectionately wrapped its roots around him.

Nahir and the others could not help but look at the mound where the Basilisk had taken refuge and wondered if it would also act the same.

Their doubt was soon answered as the Basilisk broke out of the mound and slithered toward Kyran. It then circled around Kyran while hissing in an almost excited way. They even thought the Basilisk's tail seemed to wag like a dog's tail.

Nahir's eyes widened suddenly as a sudden thought hit him.

"The silver humanoid dragon… is Nar?"

Collective gasps rang among the Eidums who heard him.
