Chapter 334 Yerick's words were interrupted by his scream as I splashed my coffee directly onto his face.

So Conrad had askedto leave so he could deal with Yerick? I didn't approach them but waited until they were out of sight before buying the milkshake and coffee.

Ellie was sitting on the bed in the ward, staring blankly out the window.

Thinking about what I had heard her say to Brandon earlier, and seeing her like this now, really made my heart ache.

She didn't hesitate and took a sip from each cup before nodding approvingly. "Different flavors, different experiences. I like them both."

"Enjoy them at your own pace. When you're better, you can open a milkshake shop or a cafe and enjoy a unlimited coffee and milkshakes," I said, though I hadn't planned to suggest it. "Alright! It's a promise," she replied enthusiastically, reaching out for a high-five.

Although whether this plan would actually work depended on Brandon's approval,I had already made the suggestion, so I returned her high-five. Ellie tried the coffee first. The bitterness made her frown, but she kept drinking and commenting, "The aftertaste is quite nice." "If you don't want to drink it, just leave it. The milkshake is sweet."
