Looking at Kaylah, who acted as if she couldn’t stand him anymore, Aryan sighed helplessly. Then he reached out to stroke her hair and turned to walk towards his acquaintances.

Kaylah muttered, “Look at what he did to my hair.”

Then, Kaylah turned around, wanting to leave. At that moment, she found herself surrounded.

With a frown, she noticed that she knew all these people. Soon, her expression turned cold.

It was none other than Hendry and his cronies.

These people all had good relations with Alondra while looking down on Kaylah. In fact, they only

With that, Kaylah turned around and left. All the while, she didn’t even look at Hendry a bit.

Hendry looked terribly awkward. The others were silenced by her words as well.

Then someone in the gang asked quietly, “Is she really Kaylah? I mean, she didn’t even know how to

fight back when people spoke ill of her before.

“Right now, look at how prickly she is. She is nowhere near weak at all, and her words hurt people

greatly.”

“I didn’t recognize her either. She has changed a lot. I really didn’t think she was this good–looking in the

past.”

“That’s right. I wish I could take her out as a plus–one.”

“Why is she so charming now? Has she undergone some plastic surgery?”

“For a woman, divorce is plastic surgery.”

“Is that so? That’s not true.”

“In short, she has really changed a lot! If I had known she was this good–looking, I would definitely

not have disliked her.”

“Hendry, are you gonna just sit back and watch your friends do things like this?”

Hendry’s heart jolted, and he couldn’t help but swallow a bit at Kaylah’s questioning.

In the past, when Kaylah was still his wife, she had never talked to him with such a tone.

Then Hendry said, “They just wanted to say hello to you.”

“Is this how they greet people? Obviously, they came here to pick a fight. How funny! I am the one who has a bone to pick with you guys, and yet you guys act like you’re the ones in the right.”

Kaylah’s gaze turned cold as she stopped leaving. Looking around at everyone coldly, Kaylah decided that it was time to settle an old score with them.
