Chad’s tone was particularly cold as he treated Alondra as a business client.

Alondra was stunned for a moment and replied gently, “It doesn’t matter. Then I won’t disturb him for now. When his meeting is over, can you be so kind as to let him contact me?”

Alondra had never thought that Chad would reject her so directly.

“I only abided by my duty and acted according to Mr. Lowery’s request.

“I still have work to do. Ms. Galvan, if you don’t have anything else, I’ll hang up.”

Then, without waiting for Alondra to speak, Chad hung up the phone.

Alondra gritted her teeth in hatred. Her eyes changed a few times before she suppressed the urge to

scold.

Something must have happened. It’s most likely that the bitch Kaylah caused Hendry to

misunderstand me.
