Chapter 282 Top Secret Identity

After being silent for a long period of time, Chandler shouted in a piercing voice, “Cole

Wilson! Do you admit your wrongdoings?” Chandler demanded. He was filled with

malevolence.

When Cole felt Chandler’s malice, he trembled with fear. He began feeling extremely

uneasy.

I do! Please spare me, Mr. Kane!” Cole pleaded with utmost urgency.

Chandler slammed the table beside him and roared, “Because of your recklessness, my

“He has defeated Leonardo Xanthos of the Two Lakes area, Mahayan Pavilion of Easton,

and Galecrest,” Cole said.

Chandler frowned upon hearing this.

Was Caspian an average matrilocal son–in–law? The fact that he could defeat all three

forces. meant that he had to be someone extraordinary.

“Mr. Alfred, do you know Caspian’s real identity?” Chandler asked as he looked at Alfred.

“I’ve done some investigation on Caspian’s background, sir. He really is the matrilocal

son–in- law of the Stewart family. However, what’s strange is that all the information about

his identity seems to have been hidden.

“I’ve tried digging around, but the only information I got is that he was once a soldier. As

for any other detail, I found nothing,” Alfred said.

This was surprising.

Chandler was slightly taken aback upon hearing this.

His details had been hidden?

How could the Kane family not get their hands on any information? This was a first for

them.

“Could it be that he’s from one of the elite families of Dhord City?” Cole asked.

“That’s impossible. It seems like Caspian was taken in. He might not even know who his

biological parents are,” Alfred said.

“There’s another possibility. He might have a very high position within the military. Even

John Anderson, the high–ranking general of South Aridlands, attended his wedding.

“I suspect that his identity is not as simple as we think!” Cole continued.

“Greetings, Mr. Kane Senior. I’m Wendell of the York family,” Wendell greeted.

“Pleasure is mine. May I know the purpose of your visitation today?” Chandler asked.

“The York family has heard about the destruction of Galecrest by Caspian. This must have

dealt a blow to the Kane family,” Wendell said as he raised his head.

Chandler’s expression immediately darkened.

Cole’s face was ashen white. Galecrest had become the bane of his life.

If Caspian had not shown up, he would still be thriving in Naporia. However, everything

had been ruined by Caspian.

Wendell noticed that Cole was present as well. However, now that Cole had fallen from

grace, he no longer had power or status.

Wendell did not even bother to pay much attention to Cole.

“The York family and Caspian are sworn enemies!” Wendell continued.

Chandler nodded. In fact, he knew about the conflict between Caspian and the York family.

With his head lowered, Wendell presented a gift box to Chandler and respectfully said, “Mr.

Kane Senior, this is a symbol of appreciation from the York family. I hope you’ll accept it.”

When Chandler opened the box, his eyes lit up.
