“Oh? Haha, that’s one wild theory you have.”

Li Shen said with a chuckle.

Shoi-ming stood up, a serious expression on his face.

“Can’t all of you see it?! That flute he’s been playing has some hypnotic effect that’s slowly taking over your mind making you become loyal to him! How else can you explain the absurd notion that all of you would support this trashy prince?!!”

Shoi-ming looked around an spoke to the crowd of disciples as if he was trying to wake them up from a dream.

However, he only got expressionless faces in return.

“Bastard, what are you talking about?! It’s because of that flute that we can break through, it’s nothing like you said. Your just some spy sent here from another Faction to sow discord here!”

Shoi-ming didn’t deny it and said.

“That’s right, I’m a part of the Stormy Violet Sword Faction. I was sent here to investigate this place to find out what’s going on behind these closed doors. But I wouldn’t imagine the Second Prince of the Li Royal Family was brainwashing the Celestial Academy disciples to join him. Is the Li Clan resorting to these methods? How despicable from the rulers of the continent!!”

Li Shen was leisurely listening to this idiot ramble on, but hearing his last words his eyes narrowed.

However, someone from the crowd suddenly roared.

“I’ve had enough of this! Why are we letting this bastard spout these outlandish claims against Elder brother?!!”

That person flipped over his hand and a sword appeared.

He then rushed towards Shoi-ming with a vicious look on his face.

Swish!

Shoi-ming side-stepped his blade and effortlessly slammed his palm against that person’s chest, sending him flying back into the crowd.

His once 2nd stage Foundation Realm Cultivation fluctuations shot up to the Mid Stage of the Foundation Realm, to stop at the 5th stage.

Most of the disciples here were among the Early Foundation Realm, some barely entering the Mid Foundation Realm at the 4th stage.

Shoi-ming pressure had them feel like they were suffocating and they instinctively took a step back.

But someone suddenly gritted his teeth and step forward despite his intimidating aura.

That person pointed at Shoi-ming and yelled.

“You’re nothing but a fucking hypocrite! There’s no way you had this cultivation before you entered this hall!”

“True, I had made several breakthroughs because of that prince. And I was even contemplating on joining him, but that’s when I realize how my mind was slowly being influenced to be loyal to him. He’s tricking all of you, if you don’t escape now you all would only become his puppet!”

Shoi-ming once again tried to convince these people of Li Shen's malicious actions, but he only made the crowd angrier.

“Fuck you and you’re bullshit!!’

Swish!

Swish!

Two disciples leaped from the crowd to attack Shoi-ming.

But he easily dodged their attacks and in a horse stance, sent a palm strike to the first disciple's abdomen sending him flying.

The other he swept his legs from under him, before leaving a shoe print on his jaw causing a sickening crack to ring out.

Before dealing with those two fully, more disciples rush towards Shoi-ming.

“All of you are crazy! You’ve all become his puppets in exchange for what?! Power?!”

“Hear this asshole! I bet he’s from the Lin Clan!!”

“How can someone from a Major Clan understand people like us?! You people with powerful backing have life easy, everything handed on a silver platter from birth!”

“So what if getting the power to survive in the cultivation world means becoming a loyal subordinate? I won’t go back to the hopeless life I once lived, NEVER!!”

Seeing the crazed expression on these disciples' faces as they charged at him, Shoi-ming realized it was useless from the start to wake these people up.

“All of you are beyond saving!”

With a vicious expression, Shoi-ming no longer held back.

His foot lash out and a disciple's sternum sunk in as he flew back coughing out blood.

With several more blows, he injured more and more disciples.

Seeing this, Li Shen softly said to Lihua.

“Stop him.”

Lihua heeded the command, and her figure was already moving through the air over everyone’s head.

Her dress fluttered as she twirled like a spinning top when she landed in front of Shoi-ming.

The disciples in the surroundings all felt something wrap around their hands or feet before they were tossed back.

In split a second the disciples around the area were cleared, and Lihua’s figure moved towards Shoi-ming.

Shoi-ming didn’t retreat and dashed forwards as well.

They both sent out palm attacks at each other, however, as Shoi-ming’s palm made contact with Lihua’s own, he felt her hand retract. That instantly took away any power he had in his blow.

His extra inertia from his momentum forward caused also caused his reaction to slow to Lihua's next move.

She pushed back against his palm and immediately Shoi-ming felt searing pain from his hand. His sleeves burst apart as a result of the power entering it.

Stumbling back, his face went ashen.

That was the strangest exchange of blows he had ever carried out with someone.

But that also told him that Lihua was too skilled for him to defeat her.

“Whatever, I didn’t come here to fight anyway.”

After saying that, Shoi-ming turned and leaped towards a window.

But just as he was about to leave, Lihua coldly said.

“You think you can leave after causing a commotion in here? Who do you think you are?”

With a swish, a silk clothe left her right sleeve aiming to wrap itself around Shoi-ming’s leg and drag him down.

And it was about to succeed in capturing him, only if someone from the crowd didn't suddenly leap forwards and severed it with a sword.

“There’s another traitor?!”

The crowd of disciples seeing this were shocked.

That person turned out to be the disciple who was next to Shoi-ming, he was pretending to be surprised by his betrayal at that time. Such cunning, no one had suspected him.

With that, Shoi-ming along with him easily escaped together through the window.

“Let them go.”

Li Shen who was calmly watching the events played stopped Lihua who was preparing to go after them.

Lihua’s expression was dark upon hearing his decision.

Swishing his fan shut, Li Shen slowly stood up, hands on his knees. He then released a groan as he lifted his arms in the air in a satisfying stretch.

After covering his mouth as a yawn escaped his lips, Li Shen then addressed the crowd.

“We won’t have this morning session, and the evening one is canceled as well. Think of this as a day off, we’ll pick this back up next week.”

Hearing that, disappointed looks appeared on the crowds' faces but they only cupped their fists and say their goodbyes to Li Shen as he left.

Lihua followed behind him as well.

When they were outside of the hall, Li Shen without looking at Lihua asked.

“How did two spies infiltrate our faction? Do you need me to give you're intelligence gathering team tips on how to judge people?”

Lihua’s expression was downcast, and she bowed before saying.

“I apologize Faction Leader, I’ll personally investigate this matter.”

“Hm, see to it you do.”

Li Shen had his hands behind his back as he walked.

After a moment, he paused outside the door to enter the courtyard.

“Have you found that person's location yet?”

“We have, and he’s going to visit one of the cities near the Celestial Academy tonight.”

“Good, prepare the things as usual.”

Before Lihua could leave, Li Shen quickly turned around and said.

“Oh, Lihua, how are Yang Su and the rest seclusion coming along?”

Lihua paused her moment before she responded.

“Ever since they decided on doing a joint training three months ago, they haven’t said anything.”

“What’s with them? They just suddenly decided to go into seclusion.”

Li Shen was said with an annoyed expression.

Lihua open her mouth to say something in response to that but she stopped.

She wasn’t going to say maybe they were doing it to get away from his sadistic training methods.

“It’s boring without them here. Lihua, let’s have a spar. I’ve been-”

Li Shen turned around as he spoke, but froze when he saw that Lihua had left.

Frowning, Li Shen said dejectedly.

“No one wants to be around their Faction Leader, how distasteful.”

He then flipped open his fan and began fanning himself, hoping to fan away his depressed mood.
