Sophia froze, then when she snapped back to reality and tried to push him away, her hand had barely touched his chest before he

grabbed it.

She struggled fiercely, tears falling harder the more she fought, while Brandon's embrace tightened and his kisses grew more

forceful.

All of Sophia's resistance cto a halt under his increasingly intense and heavy kisses, morphing into a slightly vengeful

smooching. Unconsciously, her hands tugged at Brandon's shirt, heedlessly vying for dominance.

Her retaliation unleashed the beast within Brandon.

When she struggled to stand and overpower him, Brandon's hand flipped and plunged into her hair, taking firm control. As his lips

pressed deeper, he half-twisted her body, planting her firmly on the couch.

Their uncontrolled tangle turned into a wildfire.

The blaze spread from the couch to the bedroom.

Both hearts were heavy with anger and grievances, their physical tangle becoming the perfect outlet for their emotions.

Both were a little ruthless, throwing caution to the wind, but as they pressed on in their desperate entanglement, they slowly

cooled down.

Eventually, all movements ceased.

Brandon was still holding her tight, her head buried in the crook of his neck, neither able to see the other's face.

Their skin, pressed together, was made sticky by sweat.

Once reason returned, the awkwardness hit them once again.

Sophia hesitated before nudging Brandon, not quite sure how to face him.

He didn't budge but instead held her tighter.

Sophia had no choice but to stay still, nestled in his neck.

Finally, after a while, Brandon let her go.

He stood up to fetch her swater and tidy up.

Sophia clutched the sheets, too scared to face him.

"I can take care of myself," she whispered, "You can go out first."

Brandon glanced at her, gave a gentle nod, and said, "I'll be waiting outside."

He closed the bedroom door behind him as he left.

The living room was a total mess.

The couch was all wrinkled and out of shape.

Their clothes were strewn all over the place.

Brandon called for someone to deliver a change of clothes.

They arrived swiftly.

Brandon knocked on the bedroom door. "I've had sclothes brought over."

"Just leave them at the bathroom door."

Sophia's hesitant voice cfrom the washroom.

Brandon pushed the door open and placed the clothes at the bathroom entrance.

"I've left the clothes for you here," he said, looking towards the firmly shut bathroom door.

"Mhm."

Sophia responded faintly.

Brandon didn't linger, walking out of the master bedroom. He glanced at the couch, wrinkled with other traces left behind, and

couldn't help but feel a flush of warmth on his cheeks, despite his usual cool demeanor.

He straightened the couch and wiped it down with a damp cloth.

When Sophia emerged from the bedroom, the first thing she saw was Brandon cleaning the couch. She blushed and turned her

head away, too embarrassed to face the situation.

Brandon looked back at her.

Sophia felt even more flustered, her eyes darting away from the couch and from Brandon.

After smoothing out the last wrinkle on the couch, seeing Sophia still standing there awkwardly, he got up and poured her a glass

of warm water, handing it to her.

"Have swater."

Sophia nodded lightly and took it.

The earlier exertion had left her dehydrated, and she quickly emptied the glass.

Brandon took the empty glass from her.

"Want more?" he asked.

Sophia shook her head. "No, I'm good."

Brandon nodded, set the glass aside, and looked at her. "Sophia, we need to talk."

His aura had calmed down, none of the hostility from earlier in the restaurant.

Sophia hesitated but nodded, glancing at the couch and thinking of the earlier chaos, she didn't have the nerve to sit there.

She took a seat at the dining table instead.

Brandon looked at her and sat down opposite her.

"Choosing this spot, doesn't it feel like we're about to negotiate?" he said.

"Well, it's better than the couch," she muttered, squeezing the words through clenched teeth, not wanting to face the issue.

A hint of a smile flickered in Brandon's eyes.

Sophia looked up and caught it, feeling a bit miffed and teased.

"Just say what you want to say," she said, her voice involuntarily softening.
