Nathan walked into the study. He invited Loretta to sit on the lounge. chair and began seriously questioning her.

“Have you seen Chubs at all during the ten years she was abroad, Madam Hoffis?”

“No,” she replied. “She was extremely occupied with her studies and had no tto return to the country. But we do talk on the phone.”
