Clank!

Isaac opened the door to their hotel room. He and Luna stepped inside. The first thing they noticed was the spacious bed that could fit two of them easily.

Then, they saw a TV nailed to the wall, a small desk, window that showed the enormous city and the extent of the rainstorm.

The snow was starting to melt away, making everything sticky and soft. The streets were a mess, and they became empty quickly.

All the cars disappeared, and the previous packed city became deserted.

All the buildings had lights on, and Isaac could see citizens looking at the rain with their families.

Luna opened another door and saw a bathroom. There was a shower, bath, sink, toilet, and a shelf with towels piled on top.

"I will call Sebastian." Isaac pulled out his phone, "Maybe he can come to pick us up."

Luna nodded and took off her jacket before sitting on the bed.

Ring…

Soon, the phone call was connected.

"Sebastian, can you come to pick us up?" Isaac instantly asked.

He heard a resigned sigh from the other side of the phone, "Sorry, Isaac. I can't. The cars aren't allowed to be driven when there is a rainstorm."

"Ah…" Isaac massaged his temples and nodded, "I understand…"

"Inform your grandparents. They are worried." Sebastian said.

Isaac said he would and disconnected the phone call. Then, he opened the messaging app and sent a message to his grandparents.

After sending, it didn't take long for him to receive a reply.

Luna was also typing on the phone and sending her mom a message. She soon received a barrage of texts and had to reply back to all of them.

Isaac pocketed the phone and watched the heavy pour from the windows, "Weather can indeed change suddenly…"

While the Winterland was suffering from the rainstorm. Above the dark cloud was an illusionary palace made of silver.

Fourteen skinny, round towers formed an almost perfectly squared barrier around this marvelous palace and were connected by towering, chunky walls made of silver marble stone.

Ornate windows were scattered thinly around the walls in seemingly perfect symmetry.

An endless field of soft-looking clouds scattered across the palace's ground.

Boom!

Out of nowhere, a wall of the beautiful palace was destroyed, and a beautiful woman appeared with disheveled white hair.

She was gorgeous with white baggy robes and a freezing-cold countenance. Her disheveled white hair reached all the way to her lower back.

Her feet slid hundreds of meters before coming to a stop. Then, the surrounding environment became ice-cold as she raised her head and glared at the man who emerged from the palace.

He was an amiable-looking man with golden robes and short blond hair who casually walked forth while folding his hands behind his back.

"You goddamn fossil!" Khione screamed with anger. Her beautiful white hair began turning light blue. A thin layer of ice began forming around the strands of her long hair strands.

"Khione, please, let's stop this." The amiable-looking man put his hand forth. Every movement of his screamed the word Godly.

Khione gritted her teeth and screamed, "Oh, what are you going to do about it? Oh, so famous, God!"

The amiable-looking man's name was rather strange. He was called God by everyone. He sighed and shook his head, "Khione, you aren't allowed to go to the mortal realm. Already coming here is a criminal act. They can kill you."

"No one makes fun of me and gets away with it!" She was throwing a childish tantrum. Even after living for thousands of years, she was still basically a child in the eyes of older Gods and Goddesses.

While her worshippers call her Goddess of Snow. The Gods and Goddesses have another name for her.

The most childish Goddess.

God massaged his forehead and asked, "Khione, have you tried talking with him?"

Khione opened her mouth before closing it again. She shook her head.

God sighed and looked down, where the dark clouds had gathered.

"Our fight had complicated many things… If you leave now, I won't say anything to Gaia and rest."

Khione knew that she wasn't a match for God. She had no other choice than grit her teeth and float away.

The God watched as the most childish Goddess floated away. Then, he shouted and gave a piece of valuable advice, "Talk it out. No need for violence!"

Khione gritted and left the planet's atmosphere. She was surrounded by the endless space, "That all-knowing fossil… Damn it!"

She disappeared and reappeared on the moon.

In the Snowflower Mansion.

Mariah was currently seated in the living room. She was skimming through the text messages and soon replied back to Luna.

She was very concerned. Her daughter was very innocent when it came to matters of the opposite sex. Even after Madison said that Isaac was a good kid, she couldn't believe it blindly and leave her precious daughter alone with a boy.

"Mariah, is everything alright?" Marshall stepped inside the living room and sat next to her. He remembered the last time it rained, and it was complete chaos.

However, he enjoyed the sound of water splattering against a ceiling. It was a sound that was rarely heard in Winterland.

"I am worried about Luna…" Mariah told about her worries. Marshall listened closely and nodded every now and then.

She talked about her innocence and that she wasn't aware of more intimate acts. They had only given her books that had romantic parts but nothing over the top.

Once she was done talking, Marshall held her hand and said, "She will be fine. I believe in Malcolm, and if he said that Isaac is a good kid, he must be one."

Mariah nodded and smiled, "Thanks, dad…"

"Whew." Isaac left the bathroom with a towel in his hand and wet hair. He was wearing only a t-shirt and baggy pants.

He dried up his hair and saw Luna hugging a pillow while watching the news.

"What is in the news?" He asked while moving closer to the bed.

"About the rain," Luna replied and felt a sudden weight next to her, making the soft mattress slightly lean to the other side. Her body moved closer to Isaac until their shoulders were touching.

Isaac nodded.

They kept looking at the news in comfortable silence until the ending section of the news appeared. However, it was news that concerned both of them.

It talked about the event held at the festival, and the first photo shown was two youths kissing while being submerged in water.
